All over the third world people are in dire straits due to a severe shortage of grain. Causes of the crisis have been attributed to three main reasons: global warming, the decline of the dollar and biofuels.

The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York retraces the origins of the food crisis and presents solutions.
